About the Hotel
Historic Rooms
Delano Bed and Breakfast offers two rooms with private bathrooms. The Schollenberger Room has a queen four-poster bed, walk-in closet, and original subway tile bathroom with a corner sink. The Good Room includes a full-size bed, a walk-in shower, and a small desk. Both rooms feature air conditioning, vintage decor, and access to the parlor and gardens.
Breakfast & Coffee
A continental breakfast is served on vintage dishes, featuring fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, and juice. Premium coffee from local Spice Merchant is available. On weekends, a full breakfast is offered. Optional tea service includes gourmet tea and treats in the Garden Tea Room.
Gardens & Relaxation
Guests can explore the gardens with seating areas and a pergola. The Garden Tea Room, converted from a greenhouse, provides a quiet space for reading. The front porch is ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation.
Central Wichita Location
The B&B is in the Historic Delano District, a few minutes' drive from Riverfront Stadium, Friends and Newman Universities, and city parks. Wichita Mid-Continent Airport is 10 km away. The Q-Line bus offers free downtown access.
Hosts & Services
Owners Keith and Sherri provide personalized service, including local history insights and event hosting. The B&B accommodates small gatherings, spa nights, and tea parties. Check-in is from 4-6 PM, with check-out by 11 AM. Smoking is allowed only in outdoor seating areas.
